There are an estimated 8 million people living in modern slavery in India. Many of these are women and children from rural areas. They are drawn to large cities in search of meaningful employment only to find themselves trapped in unpaid labour or held in debt bondage.
It is imperative that more be done to provide education and employment opportunities to those most at risk. That is why we are committed to delivering educational schemes for underserved communities and giving them the tools to empower themselves.
